About This Project
Volunteers support English classes in a public school or childcare setting. Public-school classes typically have 20 to 35 students.
Teaching usually takes place for two to three hours per day, Monday to Friday. Depending on local needs, volunteers may also help train teachers or support activities such as games, drawing, music, health education, computing and art.
Schools follow an established English curriculum while welcoming suitable lesson ideas and teaching methods from volunteers.
